Superstore, Kelowna BC
Come visit us outside of Superstore where we will be taking part in the Kettle Campaign for the Salvation Army. Every year, the Salvation Army collects donations in public places to raise money for those in need. To help out a fellow society, we will be jingling the bells for the Salvation Army during the afternoon. Come drop by and say hi!
About Me
- Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society
- Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society is a non-profit organization that works with people from all walks of life, no matter their race, religion, age, sex, or marital status. With a focus towards the First Nations community, we provide an array of social, educational, healing, and spiritual services to meet the needs of the community. Using both traditional and contemporary methods, we seek to retain the heritage and lifestyle of the First Nations while reaching out to those who have chosen unstable paths, offering them the opportunity to heal in a non-judgmental environment. Our primary goal of the Friendship Society is therefore "to promote total well-being for aboriginal people in all human dimensions: Physical, Spiritual, Mental and Emotional" (www.kfs.bc.ca). We seek these goals through our programs and events. This blog will provide you with information about our past and current events, and at the bottom of the page you will find a list of upcoming events and their details.
