Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society is a non-profit organization that works with people from all walks of life, no matter their race, religion, age, sex, or marital status. With a focus towards the First Nations community, we provide an array of social, educational, healing, and spiritual services to meet the needs of the community. Using both traditional and contemporary methods, we seek to retain the heritage and lifestyle of the First Nations while reaching out to those who have chosen unstable paths, offering them the opportunity to heal in a non-judgmental environment. Our primary goal of the Friendship Society is therefore "to promote total well-being for aboriginal people in all human dimensions: Physical, Spiritual, Mental and Emotional" (www.kfs.bc.ca). We seek these goals through our programs and events. This blog will provide you with information about our past and current events, and at the bottom of the page you will find a list of upcoming events and their details.

  1. Hello Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society!

I am wondering if you have an actual numbered address for the location of the sweat lodge. I am a student in an Aboriginal Social Work class at UBC-O, and we are attending a sweat as a group, and some require a proper address to help them locate the lodge. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Please email me any more information at amber.buxton@gmail.com. Thank you.
